Nintendo NES Gets An All New RPG Adventure From Gradual Games - The Legends Of Owlia

Nintendo-NES-Gets-An-All-New-RPG-Adventure-From-Gradual-Games-The-Legends-Of-OwliaThe Nintendo NES homebrew scene is very much alive. Gradual Games who previously brought us a physical cartridge release of their incredibly tough action platformer, Nomolos Storming the Catsle, are back with a RPG known as The Legends of Owlia.

Heavily inspired by Crystalis, Startropics and Zelda, Gradual Games have begun development on what will be one of the few role playing games to have ever been created for the Nintendo NES since its heyday. While very little is known about the game as of yet, Gradual Games have released a few snippets of information to whet your appetites.

Adlanniel, our protagonist, is set to be accompanied by her trusty avian companion on her long journey ahead. Similar to that of Kazooie, the owl by her side will learn new techniques during the adventure and will potentially help out our hero by fetching keys, crossing ravines and even rushing towards enemies.

Gradual Games have also released a small video preview of the game and its current progress, which can be viewed below.
