Nintendo giving away Mew to Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver players

Pokemon-HeartGold-SoulSilver-Mew-GiveawayFor those still enjoying the fantastic remakes of the original Pokemon Gold & Silver games; HeartGold & SoulSilver, will be happy to know that their games are about to receive a rather nice gift. For two weeks, Nintendo is giving anyone who connects up to the Nintendo Wi-Fi the elusive (and powerful) Pokemon; Mew!

As we all know, Mew started off as an event Pokemon in the original Pokemon Red & Blue on the Nintendo Gameboy. He was the only Pokemon that could not be caught legitimately out of the original 151 monsters, but was eventually gifted to gamers in a special event Nintendo hosted around the world.

This time round, a quick connection to the Nintendo Wi-Fi via your Nintendo DS will do the trick. Oh how easy kids have it today... From the main menu, if you select Mystery Gift, Nintendo will let you download one Mew which can be then collected from the nearest Poke-Mart.
