Nintendo Famicom Exclusive RPG SD Keiji Blader Fan Translated

Nintendo-Famicom-Exclusive-RPG-SD-Keiji-Blader-Fan-TranslatedIn 1991 Taito released a role playing game for the Nintendo Famicom which never saw release outside of Japan. SD Keiji Blader was yet another title worthy of localisation which remained as an exclusive title from abroad. Once again, fan translators have taken things into their own hands and released a translation patch.

SD Keiji Blader (aka SD Detective Blader) puts you in control of a valiant hero known as Space Detective Blader with the aim of stopping the evil King Jado from using the blue planet for his evil desires. The game itself features a very similar style of gameplay to that of Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy, only holding a more futuristic vibe for those disheartened with the swords and sorcery approach.

This English translation patch was recently uploaded to ROMHacking, giving us yet another game to add to our growing retro gaming RPG backlog.

As usual, to enjoy this fan translation patch you will need to have an original ROM file of the game in which you can apply this patch to. Full instructions on how to patch this ROM can be found within the download, or you can refer to this handy ROM patching guide on YouTube.
