In an attempt to keep your Nintendo Wii U systems busy during the wait for an all new Legend of Zelda adventure, the Japanese software giants have delved into their past to create something special. The Nintendo Gamecube classic, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, is set for a HD remake on Nintendo's new console, due for release this year.
This glorified high definition remake of the title which first saw release in Japan in 2002 will feature updated visuals true to the original, Miiverse integration and Gamepad features.
Nintendo's announcement of Link's updated cel-shaded adventure was accompanied by still visuals of Windfall Island, teasing the high level of detail the game will feature. Their announcement finished with the proposed release date being some time this Autumn.

Like Resident Evil from PS1 to GC?
I do agree there are far too many HD remakes where it appears minimal effort has been put in.
This however looks stunning beyond belief.
