Over the last few months you may have caught wind of the Nintendo 3DS Ambassador program, offering those who invested in the handheld prior to the price drop a selection of free Virtual Console games. As of now the program has launched in Europe allowing gamers to get their hands on 10 different Nintendo NES games.
The Ambassador program was launched as Nintendo's way to both keep the hardcore fans happy while being able to offer everyone else the handheld at a reduced cost. The original promise included not only the said Nintendo NES games, but also a selection of yet-to-arrive Nintendo Game Boy Advance games including Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Metroid Fusion, WarioWare, Inc.: Minigame Mania and Mario vs. Donkey Kong.
Here is the list of currently available Nintendo NES games on the Nintendo 3DS Ambassador program:

- Ice Climber
- Legend of Zelda, The
- Mario & Yoshi
