Ninja Senki by Johnathan Lavigne is a brand new freeware indie release, clearly inspired by the Blue Bomber; Mega Man and the art style of the Gameboy Color. Featuring a pixel perfect gameplay and chiptune music, this free PC game is definitely worth a download.
The game puts you in control of a Hayate, a tiny ninja with the one aim of seeking out revenge for the graphic death of his loved one, Kinuhime. A clichéd storyline, but a tried and tested one we love and another excuse to get nostalgic.
As the Ninja Senki website states and your first playthrough will uncover, this game should not be taken lightly as 'skills are required'. Following the same path both VVVVVV and Super Meat Boy have gone, this game will really put a smile on your face as you tackle the many challenges it throws forward.
