New MSX Turbo R Homebrew 'Treasures Of Babylon' Released

new-msx-turbo-r-homebrew-treasures-of-babylon-releasedAlthough few of us own the elusive Japanese exclusive MSX Turbo R home computer, we'll never turn down the arrival of another homebrew game - even if it means we can only watch from the sidelines. Talented French developer Eric Boez has just released his latest creation, a free to download arcade action title known as Treasures of Babylon.

Taking control of our protagonist Jeff Viper, the renowned archaeologist and adventurer, you're tasked with finding buried treasure left behind in the ancient ruins of Babylon. A quest easier said than done, thanks to the many traps and perils protecting the expansive 25 rooms to explore. This puzzle-action-adventure will have you meandering carefully over the crumbling floor with the only requirement: grab every last piece of the treasure.

Luckily enough for ourselves and the rest of us without MSX Turbo R systems, this enticing homebrew title can be enjoyed in a MSX emulator. But should you be in the minority and have your hand currently caressing your compatible system, you'll be pleased to know that an accompanying floppy disk label and box inlay can also be downloaded from Boez's website to print out. Also available is a pre-labelled floppy disk containing the game which can be purchased from Boez's website via a donation of €10.
