New Homebrew Puzzle-Platformer 'The Mad Wizard: A Candelabra Chronicle' Heading To Nintendo NES

The-Mad-Wizard-A-Candelabra-Chronicle-NES-HomebrewThe aftermarket library on the Nintendo NES keeps going from strength to strength, with countless new titles hitting the system on a regular basis. The latest of these - The Mad Wizard: A Candelabra Chronicle - is a rather unusual mix of Mega Man, Solomon's Key and Dizzy, featuring a fantastic blend of platforming puzzle action.

Taking control of a multi-talented wizard, you must traverse a plethora of tasking stages, each requiring the use of various spells such as block building, bridge making, levitation and more to progress. Throughout the action lies an array of troublesome creatures from fantasy lore that stand in your way, and supposedly a tricky final boss to fight.

This all new title arrives via homebrew developers Sly Dog Studios, who have stated that the game is now in its final testing phase. A cartridge release for The Mad Wizard: A Candelabra Chronicle is expected shortly, coming with both a box and manual to accompany it.
