New Commodore Amiga Homebrew Puzzler 'Cropky' Released

Cropky-AmigaJust because the Nintendo NES and Sega Mega Drive have been blessed with all new releases this year doesn't mean that the Commodore Amiga has to miss out. The home computer powerhouse has just received an all new puzzle title known as Cropky - a playful take on the grid paper classic, Dots.

This recent homebrew development hails from the C&A Fan team based in Poland, one showcasing the many talents of the Amiga community. Not only does this new Amiga game feature addictive gameplay, but also a fantastic soundtrack making the most of Paula and also high quality visuals you'd expect to see in a retail release. Cropky, however, is not exactly a new title, but in fact a port of an older Atari 8-bit homebrew release of the same name.

The gameplay itself puts you up against another player in a turn based fight for the remaining connections between the dots on the board. Each turn you must pick up where the last player left off and move across to the nearest dot via an unoccupied line. Should there be no free lines available to traverse, the opposition wins. A simple, yet devilish and taxing puzzle of wits.
