New 'Casual' Pac-Man game released on PC

Pac-ManParlourScreenshotWith just over a month to go till Pac-Man's 30th Anniversary, this is the last type of game we expected Namco to release in celebration of the yellow pill muncher. Catering almost exclusively to the Casual games market, will Pac-Man's birthday be in vain?

Pac-Man Pizza Parlor requires Pac-Man to collect all the ingredients needed for customers orders, in a Tapper style serving gameplay. After all the orders have been fulfilled, you are treated to a casual puzzle, clearing groups of three or more clusters of food.

Here is the gameplay description from Namco:

When Cathy’s father loses his memory, it’s up to her to run the family pizza parlor. Fortunately, PAC-MAN is on the job to lend a helping hand! Guide PAC-MAN around the conveyor belt to collect ingredients for Cathy and use them to create each customer’s order. Stay on your toes and keep customers happy with quick service, then play a minigame for a quick break from the shop. Get ready to order up some fun at the PAC-MAN Pizza Parlor!

  • More than 80 stages of tasty recipes and yummy ingredients!
  • Serve up dozens of delicious dishes for your hungry customers!
  • Customize your kitchen’s look and unlock cool new equipment!
  • Learn Cathy’s story through colorful comic cutscenes!
  • Play through Expert Mode for some extra spicy challenges!

Happy Birthday Pac-Man!
