NeoFlash Sega Master System Flash Card nearing release

Myth_SMS-4The team which previously brought us PC Engine, Sega Mega Drive, Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64 flash cards, are gearing up for their latest release; a Sega Master System flash card. Not only will this flash card offer perfect ROM playback, but the addition of FM sound output on PAL consoles.

The flash cart hasn't arrived in their usual stockist, however their latest release gives hope that it will be arriving very soon. It runs off NeoFlash's existing multiformat technology, the Myth Card. The Myth Card can be plugged into their range of existing retro flash cards, while maintaining a selection of ROMs from each console.

But the most interesting feature to arrive on the Sega Master System flash cartridge, is the addition of the FM Sound module. The FM Sound module was only placed inside Japanese consoles, offering a more dynamic range of sound channels for certain games. However it never found its way into European and American consoles. The NeoFlash cartridge features two phono cable ports allowing a direct output of FM Sound through the cartridge.

Here are the features listed by the NeoFlash Team:

Final spec:
* support all sega master system (sega4) games
* support save
* support cheat code, can enable/disable the cheat code in the game playing, just simple to press one switch then can swap it. When the cheat code function enable, LED = RED, when disable LED = GREEN.
* support return to menu function (software reset)
* support FM sound
* come with 256M neo2 myth flash cart and SL4 programmer

how to use:
you need download the last ultra menu APP, then specify the MD bios file to "NEOSEGA4.BIN" and format the neo2 myth flash cart, after it then add the "NEOSEGA4_Return-Menu.SMS" rom to the first space in the rom list, and add more roms to it and burn.

about the cheat code, for example the "1364 - R-Type.SMS"  rom, you just need enter the cheat code "CED8FF" in the menu then start to run game, you can use the switch to enter the ghost plan mode in any time, and when it active the LED will turn to RED.
