Mr Gimmick, Tales of Phantasia & more Reproductions to hit RetroUSB

Mr-Gimmick-Tales-of-Phantasia-more-Nintendo-Reproductions-to-hit-RetroUSBPopular US Nintendo messageboard NintendoAge recently held a camp-out gathering it's members into the wild, combining their love for video games with nature itself. The online retro superstore RetroUSB was one of the attendees, bringing along a selection of new Nintendo NES and SNES reproductions including Mr Gimmick and Tales of Phantasia.

A photograph from the event of the soon to be released reproduction cartridges recently surfaced on the NintendoAge messageboard, showing great promise for Nintendo fans worldwide.

Amongst the photograph lay the Nintendo NES games: Star Wars (presumably the Famicom exclusive version), the expensive and desirable PAL exclusive Mr. Gimmick! and also the Japanese exclusive Fantasy Zone 2.

RPG fans may have already noticed the wealth of Super Nintendo reproductions amongst the photograph, Japanese exclusives (and presumably translated) consisting of: Dragon Quest V, Dragon Quest VI, Final Fantasy V, Tales of Phantasia and Star Ocean. More than enough for 16-bit gamers to be drooling over.

While no official announcement has been made yet regarding the reproductions, our hopes are high that these games will be made available shortly. After all, who can resist a reproduction cartridge of Mr Gimmick in a Mr Gimmick coloured cartridge case?
