It had to happen and rumors have been there for a while but now it has finally been officially announced. After the spectacular success that was The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition, LucasArts now gives us a similar but improved remake of its sequel.
Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge will arrive in Summer 2010 on XBLA, PSN, PC, iPhone and Mac. Along with the now well known Special Edition treatment (Revamped graphics, voice overs, remastered music and new controls) it will also feature:
- An Exclusive Audio Commentary
- Direct Control Option (optional)
- Bonus Art
- New Hint System
Of course the hot-swap function als returns but this time you will be able to hear the voice over in the classic version. Seems they listened to the complaints!
