MegaFlashROM SCC+ SD Coming Soon To The MSX Computers - Dual SD Card ROM Loading Flash Cartridge

MegaFlashROM-SCC-SD-Coming-Soon-To-The-MSX-Computers-Dual-SD-Card-ROM-Loading-Flash-CartridgeWith the Sega and Nintendo range of systems being spoilt for choice in the flash cartridge department, it's only fair that the MSX range of computers get the same treatment. The MSX Cartridge Shop aims to bring these iconic computers up to date with the soon to be released, and rather powerful, MegaFlashROM SCC+ SD Card flash card.

Over the last few years Krikzz has proven that just about any old video game system can be revived with brand new hardware. The range of available flash cartridges have now reached new levels thanks to the portability and size of removable storage media. As many of our bygone favourites rarely require more than a megabyte in storage space, it's common to find that an entire library of video games can be contained within a single flash cartridge's attached SD card.

This interesting fact leads us on nicely to the MSX's soon to be released MegaFlashROM SCC+ SD. The MSX Cartridge Shop, behind this upcoming update to one of their earlier devices, has decided that a single SD card will not cut it for the MSX fanatics out there wanting to load ROM files into memory. Two SD card slots have been embedded into this device, set to potentially offer a huge amount of available space for just about any MSX software out there.

The MSX MegaFlashROM SCC+ SD is due to be released sometime in the next few weeks for around €100.
