Mario Party Editor ‘Party Planner 64’ Brings Custom Tables To The Nintendo 64 Board Game

Party-Planner-64-Coming-SoonMario Party is often renowned for its fantastic turn based gameplay, but more notably for its tendency to cause huge arguments between gamers. Whether it be unfair rules, the stealing of stars, or lack of control over the minigames, it’s now time to put the odds back in your favour. The newly announced application Party Planner 64 lets you create your very own boards for the Nintendo 64's unintentional brawler.

Although this ROM hacking suite is yet to be released, it has already promised an awful lot for fans of the series through its upcoming release trailer. Starting out with the basics you’ll be able to import your very own artwork for use as a game board. Once loaded it’s then a case of placing the various spaces and events over the scenery - with full control over where both the Bowser and Toad spaces sit too.

The team behind this impressive piece of software have revealed a few of their own creations, from a session taking place on PacMan’s iconic black and blue surroundings, to the curves of Super Mario Kart’s Donut Plains.

Needless to say we’re pretty eager to get going with Party Planner 64, mainly with the aim of creating even more infuriating moments amongst ourselves. Stay tuned as we await Party Planner 64’s release date.
