For some of you, the name Kralizec will ring a bell. The homebrew team have been a leading name in MSX development for many years, only to have closed their doors recently. As a final farewell Kralizec have released a new game for the ZX Spectrum, MajiKazo, which is now available for a free download.
The original version of MajiKazo was released on the MSX in 2007, but during the RetroMadrid classic computing event in Spain which took place last week, Kralizec made their homebrew hit available on the ZX Spectrum.
MajiKazo features very similar mechanics to Dig Dug and Bomberman combined, placing you in control of a wizard looking to find dungeon keys hidden within the various blocks on each floor. Finding these keys is something easier said than done thanks to the various enemies you'll be facing.
This new release is one of the many goodbye presents Kralizec have made available following their departure from the homebrew scene. A selection of seven games previously only available via their physical cartridge releases, including the remake of The Goonies, can now be downloaded for free.
