Little Big Adventure 20th Anniversary Remaster Heading To iOS & Android This Month

Little-Big-Adventure-TouchscreenIn 1994 the French development studio Adeline Software released an incredibly deep isometric adventure for PC and known as Little Big Adventure (or Relentless: Twinsen’s Adventure in North America). For its 20th anniversary DotEmu have teamed up with the game's creator Frederic Raynal to re-release the game on iOS and Android devices.

This all new port of the ahead-of-its-time masterpiece is set to hit mobile platforms on the 27th March, sporting plenty of all new features and updates. Given how complex the original game was in its control mechanisms, the touchscreen version of Little Big Adventure will sport all new adapted controls more suitable to the modern hardware.

DotEmu have released a trailer for the iOS and Android version of Little Big Adventure, leaving plenty of nostalgic PC gamers to get excited for what’s coming later this month.

Only played this on ps1 and that really blew! It looks so interesting. Im guess the port was poor rather than the original game being poor?

After Metal Slug 3 I kinda lost faith in DotEmu's ports.

Loved this back in the DOS PC gaming days, but found it hard as nails. Virtual controls scare me, really hoping they include iCade compatibility.

always saddens me to see old classics being remade and re-released on crappy devices...

love both games and have played through them numerous times (PC, of course)
granted the controls may feel awkward, but after playing with them for a while they're easy to get a hang of

truly unique games, with deep and interesting plots/characters and world(s), such a shame that there haven't been more games made in the series; then again, I'd rather Twinsen & Co. wither away into nothingness, then to have 'a modern version with all new ultra-hd-top-of-the-line-state-of-the-art-graph0x'
