Last Ninja 2 Port Discovered For Unreleased Konix Multisystem Console

Last-Ninja-2-Disks-For-Konix-MultisystemThe Konix Multisystem is an interesting piece of unreleased and long lost video game hardware. Due to feature just about every form of accessory within, the console was scrapped very early into development. That said, code for unfinished and unreleased games have since surfaced, with the latest being Last Ninja 2.

According to the Konix Multisystem fan site, disks containing a port of the home computer classic have been located by Jon Steele, a developer who previously worked at Attention To Detail. Following on from the discovery in 2012 of Jeff Minter’s attempt to bring Attack of the Mutant Camels to the Konix Multisystem, this brings the count of playable titles for the console up to a cool two.

While the disks are yet to be preserved, looked over, and even made compatible with the Konix Multisystem emulator, this fantastic find fills in yet another void in our retro gaming history. Whether or not other titles will soon surface following this news in anyone’s guess, but to even think we have playable titles on a console that never hit the shops is an incredible feat.
