Krikzz’s Nintendo 64 Flash Card - Everdrive 64 is Out Now

Krikzzs_Nintendo_64_Flash_Card_-_Everdrive_64_is_Out_Now_at_just_99The moment N64 fans have been waiting for has finally arrived. The SD card equipped Everdrive 64 has finally made its way out of production, offering retro gamers worldwide an all-in-one cartridge solution to Nintendo 64 gaming.

Priced up at the reasonable tag of $99, the Everdrive 64 has arrived on the Retrogate online store. Sadly at the time of writing, the device has flown off the e-shelves and is completely sold out with no announced date yet for the device to be restocked.

While we await further news of the cartridge being available once more, Krikzz has uploaded a new video of the cartirdge in action to YouTube.

And for those wondering a bit more about the flash card’s technical specifications, here is the official list of features.

  • 64Mbyte (512mbit) SDRAM for ROM data (max rom zize 64Mbyte)
  • SD, SDHC, MMC cards are supported
  • FAT16/FAT32 support. unlimited partition size for fat32
  • SD to SDRAM transfer speed 4.5 - 5 Mbyte/s
  • emulation features
  • gamepack saves support (SRAM, SRAM128Kbyte, EEPROM16k, EEPROM4k)
  • region free. we can play pal ROM on ntsc system and vice-versa
  • cic boot emulator. enugh to have cic6102/7101 for play all gamescart not need any extra software for PC
  • byteswoped and non byteswoped ROMs are supported
  • USB port 800k - 1Mbyte/s (optional)
