Krikzz To Release PC Engine / Turbografx 16 Flash Cartridge & Updated Ultimate Mega Drive Everdrive

Krikzz-To-Release-PC-Engine-Turbografx-16-Flash-Cartridge-Updated-Ultimate-Mega-Drive-EverdriveEver since Krikzz released the Nintendo 64 flash cartridge known as the Everdrive 64, constant speculation and debate has risen over what the Ukrainian mastermind would create next. Fans of NEC's PC Engine and Turbografx 16 will be pleased to know that their consoles will soon have an Everdrive flash cartridge.

Also arriving in the Everdrive department soon is an update to the flash cartridge Krikzz built for his favourite console of all time, the Sega Mega Drive. Dubbed as the Ultimate Mega Drive Flash Cart, the Mega Everdrive is set to build upon the foundations of the original cartridge, by offering a wealth of new features.

One of the most notable additions Krikzz is hoping to offer is the ability to play multiplayer games on the Sega Mega Drive via an Internet connection. Yes, you heard that right, Mega Drive gaming online using the original hardware...

While currently nothing more than work in progress, our hopes are set high for the upcoming Turbografix 16 and PC Engine version of the Everdrive, simply named the Turbo Everdrive. The only solution up until now for PCE fanatics to get their ROM fix on NEC's console was via Neoflash's awkward NEO Power PC-E 128M, a cartridge which will be seriously outdated by Krikzz's SD card loading trademark functionality.

Both of these new additions to the Everdrive line up are expected to be available sometime early next year. Stay tuned!
