Kickstarter Funded Indie Adventure 'Spud's Quest' Out Now

Spuds-Quest-Out-NowLate last year an ambitious indie developer headed over to Kickstarter to help fund his gaming dream, one drawing inspiration from the likes of Dizzy, Metroid and The Legend of Zelda. Spud's Quest successfully raised enough funding through the campaign, and as of this week, this retro-themed adventure can now be seen by all.

From just a mere few minutes with Spud's Quest, we're pleased to announce that our original pledge back in November 2012 has been well placed. Spud's Quest not only offers a good solid puzzle adventure, with plenty of traps and turns, but also a fantastic homage to the many adventure games we all grew up with. This is further emphasised by a retro-inspired visual style along with a well suited catchy soundtrack.

If for whatever reason you didn't back the Spud's Quest Kickstarter, the game has been made available to download at the low cost of £4.99, or double that should you want the game's soundtrack. Indie developer ChrisD is now looking to get Steam's approval to release the game on the digital download service, through Steam Greenlight.
