Japanese Game Boy Advance Exclusive RPG 'Oriental Blue: Ao No Tengai' Fan Translated Into English

Oriental-Blue-GBA-Fan-TranslationAdventure gamers rejoice, another previously unlocalised role playing game for the Game Boy Advance has been given the fan translation treatment. Oriental Blue: Ao no Tengai, an entry in the Far East of Eden series, can now be enjoyed from start to finish in English.

This previously untranslated treat from Hudson Soft was released back in 2003 on Nintendo's handheld, however, for whatever reason never ventured outside of Japan. Oriental Blue: Ao No Tengai features many familiar traits found in the RPG genre, although introduces a few new ingredients to the mix such as a unique magic system and different pathways the story can take depending on in-game choices.

The English patch for Oriental Blue: Ao No Tengai can now be downloaded. As usual, to enjoy this fan translation patch you will need to have an original Oriental Blue: Ao No Tengai ROM file to which you can apply this patch to. Full instructions on how to patch this ROM can be found within the download, or you can refer to this handy ROM patching guide on YouTube.

This patch and rom also work well on the SuperCard Mini-SD for GBA-SP (and I'm assuming other compatible devices).
I'm playing it right now on my 101 GBA-SP. Great stuff! 3-)
(EDIT: It works flawlessly!)

Just bought a CIB physical copy on ebay.
I love Hudson Soft and RPGs.
Putting them together creates must have, quality games. :-)
