Japanese Exclusive Super NES RPG 'Romancing Saga 2' iOS & Android Remake Out Now

title romancing saga2SquareEnix has recently launched on iOS and Android a classic RPG adventure that appeared exclusively in Japan upon release. Romancing Saga 2 is a traditional RPG experience that has its roots in Final Fantasy Legend, making this actually the 5th game of the series.

This newly translated version of the game for mobile has a couple new features that include high resolution graphics, a new dungeon, 2 new classes, a new game system, an additional scenario and a new game + mode. Further building upon the original, this updated remake looks gorgeous, the music is outstanding too and it very much feels like a solid choice for 16-bit RPG fans.

Playing games on mobile isn't really my thing, but I've seen that this is getting ported to the VITA. So I may actually play it.

I bought it for Android and overall I really like it, but it has to validate the license every single time it launches which sucks because I bought it to play on a bus. Hopefully that will be removed and I'll be able to play it on my tablet, but with that restriction I can only play it on my phone (assuming there is signal).
