Japanese Exclusive Nintendo Game Boy RPG Magic Knight Rayearth 2nd The Missing Colors Fan Translated

Magic-Knight-Rayearth-2nd-The-Missing-Colors-English-TranslationWhile we may never run out of role playing adventure titles to delve into, another previously unavailable-in-English title has been unofficially translated. A fan translation patch for the Japanese ROM of the 1995 Nintendo Game Boy quest Magic Knight Rayearth 2nd: The Missing Colors has been released online.

Based upon the Magic Knight Rayearth anime series, this pocket adventure is somewhat unheard of outside of the Japan - despite its Sega Saturn sibling seeing the light of day in North America. As you'd expect Magic Knight Rayearth 2nd: The Missing Colors is very much a traditional turn-based RPG with many dungeons to explore, however, where it does excel when compared to other Game Boy adventures is with its Super Game Boy compatibility.

Lucky owners of the newly released - and already sold out - Everdrive GB Game Boy Flash Cartridge can look forward to trying out this adventure on the original hardware, whilst the rest of us will need to boot up an emulator.

Magic Knight Rayearth 2nd: The Missing Colors Gameplay

A downloadable English patch for Magic Knight Rayearth 2nd: The Missing Colors can now be found at the translation patch creator's websitek. As usual, to enjoy this fan translation patch you will need to have an original Magic Knight Rayearth 2nd: The Missing Colors ROM file to which you can apply this patch to. Full instructions on how to patch this ROM can be found within the download, or you can refer to this handy ROM patching guide on YouTube.
