Japanese Exclusive Nintendo Famicom RPG 'Deep Dungeon III: Yuushi Heno Tabi' Fan Translation Patch

Japanese-Exclusive-Nintendo-Famicom-RPG-Deep-Dungeon-III-Yuushi-Heno-Tabi-Fan-Translation-PatchYet another Japanese RPG is about to hit our retro gaming backlog, as ROM hackers have translated every last drop of dialogue in Deep Dungeon III: Yuushi Heno Tabi. This Famicom exclusive dungeon crawling adventure, however, isn't for the light-hearted - so prepare for an extreme grind-fest, if that's your kind of thing?

Originally released in May 1988, Deep Dungeon III: Yuushi heno Tabi (also known as Deep Dungeon III: The Journey To Become A Hero) is the third title in the series following successful prior releases on the Famicom Disk System and MSX Computers.

Like its predecessors, this first-person orientated crawler puts you up against winding corridors packed to the brim with enemies looking for a fight. While it might not look too enticing or visually appealing, the depth behind these somewhat basic graphics makes up for its looks several times over.

Deep Dungeon III: Yuushi heno Tabi (Gameplay) Fan Translated

A downloadable English patch for Deep Dungeon III: Yuushi Heno Tabi can now be found at ROMHacking.net. As usual, to enjoy this fan translation patch you will need to have an original Deep Dungeon III: Yuushi Heno Tabi ROM file to which you can apply this patch to. Full instructions on how to patch this ROM can be found within the download, or you can refer to this handy ROM patching guide on YouTube.

How about actually crediting KingMike rather than the nebulous 'rom hackers'.
