Jamie Woodhouse's Qwak now ported to iPhone

qwak_iphoneWhile we don't often cover the iPhone, the lure of those cute little ducks is too much. Jamie Woodhouse is now porting his masterpiece Qwak, from the Commodore Amiga to the iPhone.

For those unfamiliar with Qwak, it might be worth having a quick look on eBay for the original Commodore Amiga version released by Team 17.

The game easily rivals the likes of Bubble Bobble and Snow Bros, putting up a great fight for the title of 'Best Single Screen Arcade Platformer' ever. Featuring the cutest two ducks around, an arsenal of eggs, different strengths of duck armour and enemies so cute you're rewarded for not harming them.

In the last few years, Qwak has been ported to the Nintendo Gameboy Advance and also had a HD remake on the PC/Mac too.

So either dust off that Amiga or get ready for the unknown, but sometime soon release on the App Store.

I haven't even given the PC version a try yet but quite liked the GBA port. Still need to build a box for that one...
