'Inversion: When Darkness Cry' New Nintendo NES Homebrew

Inversion-NES-HomebrewIf for whatever reason you didn't get your hands on the highly desirable Action 53 Function 16 Volume ONE cartridge for the Nintendo NES, you'll be pleased to know another homebrew title has just hit the scene. Inversion: When Darkness Cry is the latest free release for the 8-bit system, one which combines mechanics from several retro gaming favourites.

If somebody placed both VVVVVV and Ikaruga into a blender and then drained the result through a monochrome display, you'd be left with Inversion. Using an incredibly basic graphical palette and simple visuals, this all new Nintendo NES homebrew will have you jumping between platforms, only having to invert the scenery around to progress further.

This straightforward twist in the platforming action is easy to grasp but a real pain to master. With more than enough levels on offer and aplenty of challenges to conquer, you'll be pulling your hair out whilst smiling your way through this impressive Nintendo NES homebrew.
