HuCast Games Teaser Reveals More Of Upcoming Sega Dreamcast Shmup 'The Ghost Blade'

Ghost-Blade-2015-Release-Date-Teaser-TrailerAlthough announced way back at the start of 2013, HuCast Games are still busy behind the scenes working on their soon to be released Sega Dreamcast shmup The Ghost Blade. With their expected release date of 2015 drawing near, a brand new trailer has been launched showcasing the homebrew developer’s work over the last few years.

Needless to say, like many of HuCast Games’ other developments, The Ghost Blade is holding a lot of promise for both fans of Sega’s console and the shmup genre. Featuring a belting soundtrack, vibrant visuals, and the much loved bullet hell environment, this upcoming homebrew hit has us rather excited.

Pre-orders have been open for this upcoming Dreamcast shooter for quite some time now, however, those yet to secure their copy are still in luck. Starting at 36,95 EUR for the standard edition, with more deluxe and collector's editions also available, don’t miss out on what’s looking to be a great release for a retro console.

Why, oh why does every shmup produced in the last 15 years have to be bullet-hell???

I have trouble telling them all apart. This looks no different to any of the last half-dozen shooters produced for the Neo Geo or Dreamcast. Same game, different sprites and different sound-track. What's taking so long with HuCast, is their sprite editor broken?

Meh! Give me Xevious any day!
