Sadly, Project MD; the homebrew platformer in development for the Sega Mega Drive has been cancelled. Despite showing real promise, not all is lost. The developer has released the unfinished game for all to play.
RetroCollect covered Project MD back in June when the developer unveiled his latest project. Having anticipated the release since then, we're sad to see what appears to be the end of it. However, it could live on as the original source code has also been released in hope that somebody else can continue the project or learn from the work done so far.
