Homebrew Sega Master System Reproduction of Digger Chan out now

Homebrew-Sega-Master-System-Reproduction-of-Digger-Chan-now-availableIf the Sega Master System, reproduction cartridges and a bit of Mr Driller are your thing, look no further. Die hard Master System fans Aypok and Playgeneration have been working away for quite some time, finally bringing us their very own homebrew effort on cartridge- Digger Chan.

The new arcade hit from the team of enthusiasts was released earlier today at the annual Sega8bit meet up held in Manchester. As of speaking, approximately 25 copies have been pressed featuring a high quality illustrated box insert along with a well padded manual. The box itself has also been designed to cleverly mimic the authentic Master System look, making the rest of your collection comfortable with its arrival.

Digger Chan is an unique take of the arcade classic Mr Driller, with a devious twist of puzzles and frustration. While Mr Driller fans will be familiar with the almost clear route to the bottom, Digger Chan's puzzle element of dead ends and dodgy paths has you on the edge of your seat from the first dig placed.

While Digger Chan is yet to receive its own webpage to order the game from, the two creators can be found on the RetroCollect forums or over at Sega8bit, should you be interested in a copy.

that looked really nice
I'm a huge fan of Mr. Driller and although this does seem a bit easier (no falling blocks); I still love the "new" aspects of it (the TNT)

great to hear that the Master System is getting some lovin' these days as well, it' s a highly under-rated console

I'd love to have a copy. Hopefully there may be a chance when they become available to purchase (smiling nicely at Playgeneration and Aypok) ;-)
