Homebrew Puzzler 'The Speccies' Arrives On ZX Spectrum

The-Speccies-ZX-Spectrum-HomebrewIf you're feeling like your ZX Spectrum could do with a dose of new software then you're in luck - Tardis Remakes has recently released an all new puzzle game known as The Speccies. This taxing mind-bender draws inspiration from a retro game of the nineties whilst further showcasing what the classic computer is really capable of.

Those who remember Titus Software's The Brainies, a Super Nintendo, Commodore Amiga, Amstrad CPC and Atari ST (amongst others) release, will no doubt spot the similarity on offer here. For those unfamiliar with the inspiration behind The Speccies, in both of these titles you must guide the little critters to their matching colour hubs - with a twist of course. With limited space on offer and certain order these unusual beings should be moved, you'll be tearing your hair out whilst enjoying the challenge brought along to your ZX Spectrum.

If The Speccies sounds like your kind of game, you'll be pleased to know it has been released to download for free. Those who prefer a more tangible offering are also in luck as Tardis Remakes has created a physical version of the game available for the taking.
