Homebrew Basketball Release 'Jam It' Dunks Onto Commodore 64

Jam-It-Commodore-64-HomebrewDespite there being a wealth of brand new releases available for older systems, very few of these homebrew offerings are sports titles. Throwback Games, however, are set to break the mould with their upcoming 2-on-2 style basketball game Jam It for the Commodore 64.

Arriving this coming February, Jam It appears ready to follow in the footsteps of titles such as Jordan vs. Bird: One on One and One on One: Dr. J vs. Larry Bird, putting the player in control of a team of two looking to slam. With bonus features such as replays, end-game statistics, 4 player compatibility (using the Protovision adapter), and even halftime shows, Throwback Studios have smashed the homebrew sports genre's backboard.

Due to be released as a digital download in the coming weeks, Jam It can either be enjoyed on the original hardware or through a Commodore 64 emulator.
