Homebrew Adventure 'Godkiller' Hits The ZX Spectrum

Godkiller-ZX-Spectrum-HomebrewIf for whatever reason you've ran out of home computer classics to tackle on the ZX Spectrum, get ready for another adventure. Godkiller is the latest homebrew release to hit the system, a vibrant top-down action title with stunning 8-bit visuals.

Hailing from a small island off the coast of Spain, retro developer Apsis' newest creation draws inspiration from the likes of Sabrewulf and The Legend of Zelda. Placing you in control of a reborn Godkiller, you're tasked with avenging your late partner by travelling through space and time. Starting out in the Temple of Mnar in 9500bc, Godkiller has you hunting down ten souls and three sacred objects through eight-directional gameplay, packed with plenty of enemies to tackle.

Godkiller has been released online for free as a downloadable ZX Spectrum .TAP file. Currently the game's dialogue is in Spanish, however, an English version is supposedly in development.
