Gore Filled MS-DOS First Person Shooter 'Shadow Warrior' Due For Release On Apple iOS Devices

Gore-Filled-MS-DOS-First-Person-Shooter-Shadow-Warrior-Due-For-Release-On-Apple-iOS-DevicesAfter the huge success of Doom in the early nineties, countless first person shooters began arriving on the PC. One of the most notable releases was Duke Nukem 3D, however, the guns blazing shooter from 3D Realms inevitably overshadowed its spiritual successor - Shadow Warrior - which has now been ported to iOS.

Shadow Warrior was built upon the same engine used within Duke Nukem 3D, only this time round the gore meter was cranked into overdrive. Simply put the 18 rated shooter was Duke Nukem 3D set in the Far East with an array of ninja based weaponry. The game unsurprisingly caused quite a stir upon release due to the graphic content within and the "insensitive and inauthentic representations of East Asian society and culture".

Having received permission from 3D Realms to resurrect this iconic shooter, General Arcade have been hard at work to port Shadow Warrior to the iPad, iPhone and Apple iOS devices. The game is set to be released by the end of the year.
