3 Sega Game Gear Titles Heading To The Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console

3-Sega-Game-Gear-Titles-Heading-To-The-Nintendo-3DS-Virtual-ConsoleKeep an eye on the 3DS eShop next week, especially if you are a Game Gear fan. Nintendo have announced the first batch of games from Sega's handheld console will be released next week via the US and EU eShop.

The list includes three classics- Sonic the Hedgehog: Triple Trouble, Shinobi and Dragon Crystal. Other games such as Fun! Fun! Minigolf Touch!, Arch Style Soccer 3D, and a cool music game known as Zombie Slayer Diox will find its way into the eShop as well, but retro fans will be most interested in the announcement that Nintendo plan bring Punch-Out!! to the 3DS later this week.

Although a promising step towards immortalising more retro games on the 3DS, we're still very much anticipating the arrival of the Nintendo Virtual Boy back catalogue on the 3D handheld.

I am the original first generation. I wandered in to an arcade in the late 70’s and never really got over it. I don’t have a favourite system but I do have a lot of favourite games and spend most of my spare time playing and writing about them. On sunny days you could find me outside, but only if my longboard is with me.

I wouldn't get excited about the release of the Virtual Boy back catalogue. It sucks. Except for Wario Land.
