Game Boy Advance Mother 1 + 2 Gets A Fan Translation

Mother-1-and-2-Game-Boy-Advance-Translation-PatchEarthbound and Mother fans rejoice! The highly acclaimed, yet sadly import only, Mother 1 + 2 compilation for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance has been gifted a fan translation.

The original Mother game for the Nintendo Famicom, occasionaly referred to as Earthbound Zero, never saw release outside of Japan. A few years back a prototype of the English translation eventually surfaced via an American yard sale, which eventually saw the ROM surface online. Since then a huge batch of reproduction cartridges have been made available online from the likes of nesreproductions.com.

The series has become somewhat iconic since the first two games graced Nintendo consoles, allowing the first two games to be re-released in a compilation bundle for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. The compilation has remained as an untranslated Japanese exclusive, until now...
