Game Boy Advance Gets Drunk With Homebrew 'Beerjeweled'

BeerjeweledOne of the more unusual offers from the homebrew gaming world this month is the arrival of a Bejeweled clone on the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. Instead of featuring the sparkly gems and crystals from Pop Cap's puzzler, Beerjeweled has you switching around alcoholic beverages for those high scores.

This new creation hails from retro developers known as Nuance, Genesis Project & Digital Demolition Krew, who we're assuming have been very merry and tipsy during the creation of this handheld title. Whilst the gameplay behind this adapted port differs very little from the once-flash now-multiplatform puzzler, we're over the moon to see such an addictive game hit Nintendo's handheld.

A ROM of Beerjeweled has been released online over at Pouet and can be either enjoyed on a Nintendo Game Boy Advance flash cartridge or an emulator.
