The era in which we started our adventure into the world of gaming is a tough one to let go of. While this may hold true for gamers, it would also appear that there are several 'retro' developers who are also eager to keep their programming past alive - so much so that former-SNK employees have begun work together on a brand new Super Nintendo beat-em-up known as Unholy Night: The Darkness Hunter.
Reported to require a whooping 32MB cartridge to run, Unholy Night: The Darkness Hunter is drawing plenty of inspiration from its developer's Neo Geo days. Having previously worked together on the likes of King of Fighters, this all new fighter is shaping up to feature all the combos, special moves and much much more that we know and love from the genre. Unholy Night also appears to offer a vibrant graphic style with plenty of anime-inspired characters, all of which looking fantastic through the Super Nintendo.
Unholy Night is rumoured for a February 2017 release, however, any further details such as cost are yet to be known.
