Forget Google Maps, have an 8-bit New York City Map

8bit_nycCartography doesn't get much cooler than this! New York City has been downsized, scaled and pixelated into what could be the setting for a classic RPG on the NES. Using 16x16 pixel tiles for the map, the author Brett Camper has plans to expand this across many other cities. Hopefully those plans will cover Europe too!

If this kind of art/map interests you, be sure to head over to the site and follow the link to help them expand. All we need now is the ability to use custom tile sheets and get a Final Fantasy city!
