Final Fantasy IV: Complete Collection which is arriving in Japan on March 24th, has just had an English localisation confirmed. Featuring both an updated remake of the original game and the mobile phone exclusive sequel, this bundle will be arriving in Europe not long after it's Japanese release.
What comes as a surprise though is the fact a North American release date has not been announced as of yet. Final Fantasy IV: Complete Collection will be one of the few occurrences where the Europeans will be first to taste the arrival of a new RPG first.
The collection features the all time classic Final Fantasy IV which first debuted on the Super Nintendo in 1991. European's didn't get the chance to official try Final Fantasy IV on their own turf until 2001, when Squaresoft bundled together both FFIV and FFV to form Final Fantasy Anthology for the Sony PlayStation. The game then made it's way to the Game Boy Advance in 2006, shortly before heading to the Nintendo DS in 2008.
The most interesting addition of all to the bundle however is the addition of the Japanese mobile phone sequel to Final Fantasy IV titled Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. An adventure which takes place 17 years after the events of the first game, following the original cast in many more engaging quests.
