Fan Translation Released For Nintendo DS Japanese Exclusive 'Ace Attorney Investigations 2'

AAI2-Fan-Translation-Full-Patch-ReleasedDespite starting life on the Game Boy Advance in Japan, Phoenix Wright's international big break didn't come until his arrival on the Nintendo DS. Now spanning seven titles and a spin-off, the Japanese exclusive entry Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Prosecutors Path has now been translated into English.

Better known as Gyakuten Kenji 2, this Japan only release originally hit the Nintendo DS in 2011. Although the retro-styled gameplay has gathered a huge following over the years, Capcom left this title to be a Japanese exclusive - leaving many gamers cross-examining the publisher’s decision.

Over the last few years, several of the Phoenix Wright fans decided to team up and take things into their own hands. As a result, several years after the game’s initial release, a downloadable patch has been released to translated every last snippet of text into English.

Ace Attorney Investigations 2 (English Gameplay)

As usual, to enjoy this ROM hack patch you will need to have a legally obtained original Gyakuten Kenji 2 ROM file to which you can apply this patch to. Full instructions on how to patch this ROM can be found on the patch's release thread.
