Roll on summer! The newly announced North East Retro Gaming Event due to take place this June is set to rekindle our love for the long lost arcade experience. Promising a hall filled to the brim with classic coin-ops and pinball machines, NERG in Newcastle later this year is one event you won't want to miss.
As of speaking, a combined count of over 100 individual arcade machines and pinball machines are set to populate NERG, with a wide selection of our favourites. Space Invaders, Donkey Kong, Galaxians, Star Wars, Battle Zone and Missile Command, amongst many more to come, are set to make an appearance on free play.
Although in its infancy, NERG (North East Retro Gaming) is set to become a yearly event for the North East of England, gifting retro gamers across the country yet another retro gaming event to look forward to. The début NERG is set to take place in the Gateshead Stadium situated in the heart of Newcastle on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th of June. Weekend tickets can be had for £25, while day passes will set you back £15 a head.
