Eight Game Boy Advance Titles Heading To Wii U Virtual Console

Game-Boy-Advance-Virtual-Console-Wii-UIf you didn't already catch this week's news from Nintendo, you'll be pleased to know that the Wii U is about to introduce a healthy selection of Game Boy Advance classics to the eShop's Virtual Console. Arriving over the next few weeks, this powerful portable line-up includes some of the greatest hits to ever grace the handheld.

As of Thursday next week (April 3rd), Advance Wars, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and Metroid Fusion will blast their way onto the system each with the price-tag of £6.29. A week later the Wii U will be blown into shape with Kirby & The Amazing Mirror and the finger workout that is Wario Ware Inc.

Nintendo will then continue to push out ever more titles later into April, with F-Zero: Maximum Velocity and Golden Sun arriving on April 17, shortly before releasing the most wanted title of the lot Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 on April 24.

Although it is great knowing we can once again enjoy these handheld classics from the last decade on the big screen, retro gamers will be pleased to know that the games are indeed portable and can be played off the TV with the GamePad. Furthermore, emulation-happy gamers can look forward to the added bonus of save states too.
