Earthworm Jim's Creator Is Back With Claymation Kickstarter

Earthworm-Jim-Creator-Is-Back-With-Claymation-Kickstarter-ArmikrogBest known for creating our favourite Oligochaeta - Earthworm Jim, Doug TenNapel is heading back to his earlier claymation outings via Kickstarter. Armikrog is set to revive the much missed hands-on-animation style, in a game which will effectively will become the spiritual successor to his earlier creations, The Neverhood and Skullmonkeys.

TenNapel has not created a videogame in over ten years now, however, with two former colleagues at his side we're expecting a re-awakening of his rested talents. The animators/artists behind The Neverhood and Earthworm Jim, Ed Schofield and Mike Dietz of Pencil Test Studios, have already begun work on Armikrog with TenNapel and have turned to Kickstarter to further fund the development of their title.

According to the Kickstarter trailer, a considerable amount of progress has already been made on the game - one which is showing a lot of promise for point 'n' click adventure fans. Further adding to Armikrog's merits, an incredible cast has been pencilled in for voice acting, including the likes of Rob Paulsen (Pinky & the Brain), Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite), and Michael J. Nelson (Mystery Science Theater 3000), to name a few.

Their target currently lies at $900,000 with just under a month to go, although as of speaking, the project has made considerable progress towards this goal already.
