'Doom: The Mercenaries' Combines Resident Evil 4 & Classic FPS Doom

Doom-The-MercenariesEverybody loves a bit of Doom and Resident Evil, but what happens if you throw them into a video game blender and merge them together? One incredibly talented game hacker has the answer in his all new Doom modification known as Doom: The Mercenaries - a bizarre yet fantastic combination featuring the likes of Leon Kennedy and more.

Instead of just throwing different sprites into the mix and calling it a day, DooMero has also brought over some special enemy-ending-moves and gameplay mechanics previously unseen in the classic FPS. Hit combos, new characters, neckbreaks and even more await you in this mash up, one fans of the Resident Evil series will enjoy very much.

The modification is still very much a work in progress, however, you can check out DooMero's modification via the Doom: The Mercenaries' development thread over at ZDoom.
