Complete Set Of 721 US NTSC Super Nintendo Games On eBay

Complete-Set-Of-721-US-NTSC-Super-Nintendo-Games-On-eBayApparently Christmas is the time when several retro gamers decide to part with their game collections. Similar to the recent Japanese Game Boy Advance and PAL Sega Dreamcast complete collections that have surfaced on eBay as of recent, a jaw-dropping full set of NTSC US Super Nintendo games has made an appearance, including every single box and most manuals.

Aside from the obvious, this complete US Super Nintendo collection auction is quite a notable one. The seller of all people is byuu - the mastermind behind the pixel perfect Super Nintendo emulator bsnes and the custom special SNES chip, the MSU1. byuu's intention behind obtaining the complete run of US Super Nintendo games was to ensure he had access to every single title available to make sure each game was emulated perfectly in bsnes.

Now that byuu has created his own ROM library of every single US Super Nintendo game, he has decided to part with them all on eBay. The auction consists of all known 721 US retail Super Nintendo releases, all of which are boxed and an estimated 85% come with manuals.

On average the current Buy It Now price of $24,999 works out at around £21 per game. With complete copies of Earthbound currently commanding $700 and Chrono Trigger asking for $400, and the fact this Buy it Now has a Best Offer button attached, it's no surprise a flurry of offers have already flown in.

Hmmm...I know that each person has their own criteria for their collection, but personally, I consider it incomplete without Exertainment Mountain Bike Rally/Speed Racer.

It's damned impressive though and not that far off with regards to the price. You normally get some right crackpots putting stuff like this for a hundred k plus. This chap sounds reasonable.

Yeah, I can tell you, if I was earning 200k a year I'd buy this in an instant. It is a reasonable price. It's a shame so many manuals are missing though, but then again boxes are the hardest to find.
