Complete English Fan Translation Patch Released For 'Dragon Force II' On Sega Saturn

Dragon-Force-II-Fan-Translation-Patch-CompleteSeveral years ago an early preview of a Dragon Force II fan translation patch was released by Verve Fanworks. Although making the Sega Saturn title more playable, a lot of the dialogue was yet to be translated including the game's all important story. After what is thought to be eight years in the making, the fan translation group have finally released a complete English patch for this stunning title which unfairly missed out on localisation.

Although sales in the UK and US may have suggested there was little interest in Dragon Force upon release in 1996, fans of the series were left desperate to play the sequel - something which never saw release outside of Japan. With stunning army-scale battles and an engrossing story filled with depth, it's no wonder that those who picked up Dragon Force the first time round are so hooked on the adventure. As the 1998 sequel ending up being a Japanese exclusive, Verve Fanworks took it upon themselves in 2007 to do the fans justice.

Taking place 500 ears after the actions of the original game, Dragon Force II focuses on several monarchs who unite to take down another bad shadow lurking over Legendra. Similar to many RPGs, you'll see this band of heroes develop as they learn about the events proceeding the first game as you tackle eight scenarios of tactical RPG action. The sequel comes with all new features such as the ability to add two different troop types to generals, an item forging system, an a Japanese voice dub to give that authentic Anime feeling.
