While you may be growing tired of the term, you cannot deny that the crowdsourcing platform is bringing retro gamers a plethora of projects that would have otherwise never seen the light of day. Allister Brimble's The Amiga Works - a compilation CD of remastered and remixed music from his Commodore Amiga classics - is no different.

For those unfamiliar with the name, you'll be familiar with his compositions. From Superfrog to Alien Breed, Allister Brimble created countless soundtracks to countless Commodore Amiga games. Some of his most notable compositions were done under the Team 17 label, often adding the finishing touches to the console quality games that the UK based publishers released.

Allister has since been busy in the video game music industry, his company Orchestral Media Developments sculpted soundtracks to the likes of Sega All-Stars Racing, Trackmania Turbo on the Nintendo DS and Team 17's updated Alien Breed Evolution.

With 'The Amiga Works', Allister hopes to make the most of the latest technology available to revitalise many of the classic Amiga hits he created years ago. For a small pledge you'll be able to download the MP3s upon completion, where as more generous donations will secure a physical copy of the CD and signed artwork.
