'Commodore 64: A Visual Compendium' Kickstarter Set To Celebrate The Home Computer's Visual Impact

Commodore-64-A-Visual-CompendiumOver the last few years we've seen plenty of publications discussing our gaming past and the history behind the classics, but so few of these actually look at the bigger picture beyond the facts. In an attempt to rectify this, a Kickstarter campaign has just opened up to help celebrate the visual impact the Commodore 64's vibrant graphics have had on us all.

The Commodore 64: A Visual Compendium is a book set to showcase countless loading screens, stunning graphics, maps, cover art and information surrounding the design put into the home computer classics. Set to span 200 pages, countless iconic visuals will be printed within this compendium which makes it a must have for any gamer associated with the home computer.

A pledge of £25 will secure a copy of the book (which is due for release in September), along with one of five collectible loading screen postcards. A larger pledge of £60 will not only include the compendium, but also a cartridge copy of the Commodore 64 homebrew hit Micro Hexagon from the team at RGCD.
