Well that was quick! Just 24 hours after Codemasters released a teaser page for their upcoming release, all the details on Dizzy's return have been cracked wide open. Our initial wishes have been answered as a HD remake of one of Dizzy's finest outings; Prince of the Yolkfolk is set for release on Android and iOS devices next month.
Accompanying this new announcement is a trailer of the HD Dizzy remake in action, offering even more promise for the British Egg's return. If we had to form an opinion early on, it would appear that Codemasters have taken the correct route of handling their back catalogue by doing nothing other than polishing up the graphics of their past hit.
Here's to hoping the most overlooked and under-appreciated Codemasters' hero- Cosmic Spacehead -will be next to receive the high definition treatment. *hint hint*

I don't own an iPhone, nor an Android, nor do I have any intentions of ever getting any kind of mobile phone of that range
I use my phone to send sms and call from, that's it
if I want to play games on the go, I'll use my GBC/GBA/NDS/PSP
to "revive" this franchise for the phone-market was a true kick in the balls for a lot of people
I am certain that I'm not alone in separating my phone from my game-systems
I don't see a port coming to any of the major consoles (TV-Consoles, that is) and there's no need to put this on a 3DS, or similar - but I don't see any reason as to why they couldn't make a PC-port
if this is the future of classic gaming revived - then I'm jumping off the train - I may be "stuck in my old ways" of gaming, but I've been a gamer for almost 3 decades and I know how my games are meant to be played
this is not one of them.
